In 2000 I obatined my first Irish Red and White Setter. She is a lovely bitch that I imported from Dublin, Ireland. Grainne easily obtained her Rarities and American Rare Breed Championship. She has done well in the show ring taking Best of Breed at our regional Specialty and Reserve Best in Show at an all breed show. She has also had some success in the bird field.

Grainne was bred in April, 2003, to Ardbraccan Free & Easy (owned by Maureen Lapan). This mating produced ten lovely puppies in June. They have all gone to wonderful homes. Recently at a RARITIES show in Hartford, CT, MOONSTONE ABHAILLI (the puppy kept by Maureen) did us all proud by going BEST PUPPY IN SHOW! Needless to say we were thrilled.
