November News

We have just bred for a litter of Gordon Setters. Maggie was bred to Angus and we are now waiting to see if we have any puppies coming. If all went as it should, we should have puppies on or about January 20, 2010. This will be strong breeding on the Rockaplenty lines.

Below is a photo of Angus (left) and Maggie (right) on the day they both passed for a leg on their Junior Hunt title.

Puppy update

All the puppies are sold. I still have Guinness (Maroon) and Enya (Pink) here. Enya I plan to keep and Guinness will be going to Australia early 2010.

Mooresfield Brigid was bred to United Spots Night Fire and had puppies on May 14. We have 4 boys and 4 girls. All of them are doing well. See another photo of Brigid and pedigree below.

Moonstone Dublin (Cindy)

Cindy is now owned and loved by Anne Marie. Both are very happy about the adoption.

Irish Red & White Setters

I have bred Multi Champion Mooresfield Brigid to United Spots Night Fire (Italian import). This very special litter should be arriving May 16.

 Informal photo of Mooresfield Brigid.

This will be quite the international litter; Brigid's dad was imported from England, her mom from Ireland, and bred to an Italian import! I am expecting good bone, color, angulation, and hunting ability.

FLASH: Brigid was confirmed pregnant by ultrasound on April 24.
